To insert your sim card, for some android devices, you will need to remove the back panel and battery. In others, you simply need to insert the sim into the sim tray on the side.
Here are a few steps to ensure that you are entering the sim card correctly:
If you are required remove the back panel and battery, here are some steps to doing so:
Step 1 Turn off your phone
Step 2 Carefully push the sim card out of the wallet-sized plastic card carrier
Step 3 Remove the back panel of your phone and the battery, you will see your sim card slot
Step 4 Your sim has one corner missing, fit the sim card
Step 5 Replace the battery and the battery cover
Verify the location of the sim card tray and match the position of the sim card in relation to the sim marker as seen below and then insert card:
If your device carries a Sim Tray to the side, here are some steps to doing so:
Step 1 Insert the end of the SIM eject tool (included in the phone box) into the hole in the sim tray. Tip: if you don't have a SIM eject tool, you can use the end of a paper clip.
Step 2 Press firmly and push the eject tool until the tray pops-up
Step 3 Pull out the tray and place the sim card in it, matching the shape of the tray
Step 4 Carefully push the sim tray containing the sim card back into the your device
